Link Between Sleep and Weight - Here is an interesting article that tells about a study done with women age 40-60. They kept track of their sleeping habits and found that those that slept less, had trouble falling asleep, or woke frequently during the night had greater weight gain than those that slept well. They said there could be two factors that cause this. When people get less sleep, they tend to have less energy left for exercising. They also showed that their appetite control hormones got out of balance causing them to turn to high carbohydrate and calorie dense foods more often. They also did a study with healthy young men and found that they ate an average of 560 calories more on the days that they were sleep deprived. Studies have also been conducted on children "Researchers believe that sleep-deprived children may be at especially high risk of having weight problems. Studies have consistently found that getting less sleep than recommended is associated with childhood obesity. In fact, based on sleep studies in children, researchers have calculated that a child's risk of being overweight or obese is reduced by about 9 percent for each additional hour of sleep per night." The moral of the story is GET SOME SLEEP. It will not only help you feel better, but it will also help you maintain your weight and healthy eating habits. http://www.everydayhealth.com/
Use Your Scale - Many people, including me, use their scale to help keep them on track with weight loss or weight maintenance. You can track your progress until you get to your desired weight. Then when you get to your desired weight, you can use your scale to help keep you on track. If you see that your weight is starting to climb back up, you can make small corrections to your diet before things get out of control again. If you don't have a scale, you don't even have to fight the crowds to get one. You can purchase a nice digital scale online and have it shipped right to your door. Here is an article about using your scale for weight loss and maintenance http://www.everydayhealth.com/

Fat Burning Tea and Coffee - As an update to last month, my total inches lost after one month of drinking one fat burning tea a day came to 10 inches! I'm happy to report that it has stayed off and that lots more people have started on this journey with me and are seeing pounds and inches melt off. I didn't change anything in my diet except for drinking the one cup of tea (more like fruit punch) each day. There is also coffee and latte available that some have used to achieve their results. I know it sounds too good to be true, but all I can say is that it worked for me. Let me know if you want more information or if you want to order some of these products too. I have started to distribute these products since so many people were interested. My website is www.fatburningcoffeeandtea.com
